New Memorial Fellowship Offered to a Visual Artist See Residencies and Fellowships The Mary Anderson Center for the Arts is an artist colony in southern Indiana. Located in a rural setting only 15 minutes from downtown Louisville, KY, the center provides residencies for emerging and professional musicians / composers, writers and visual artists. The Center is open year-round. Programming includes classes in its evolving Barbara Hardy Clay Studio, exhibits by area and national artists in the intimate Winfrey Blackburn Fine Arts Gallery and Loftus House, an Art and Spirituality symposium in the spring, and an annual, interactive public event held the second Saturday in June.
